Royal Diamonds

Royal Diamonds started out as a humble segmented maple vase...your standard 12-segment ring, 7 rings stacked, glued, and turned on the lathe. Then beads (curved rows) are turned and vertical lines are burned to create segments. Finally, the pattern is colored in with India ink pens. The end result is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece suitable for a regal table.
 
Bowl measures 6" tall and 9" in diameter at it's widest. 44 rows and 120 burned segments per row.
